Our Student Support Services (SSS) team meets weekly to discuss and refer students with a variety of learning and behavioural needs in order for them to receive the support that they require. Students are generally referred to the team by classroom teachers, however, it is possible for parents and carers to bring their concerns to the team via the classroom teacher. We also receive a number of automatic referrals when students come with a file from another school. The following is a diagram of the process and some of the services that are provided.
